PRIVACY POLICY — AUTOLA CHROME EXTENSION

Effective date: February 24, 2026
Extension name: Autola (Chrome Extension)
Contact: support@autola.ai

  1. WHAT THE AUTOLA CHROME EXTENSION DOES
The Autola Chrome Extension adds a button inside Gmail. When you click the button, it forwards the currently open email to an Autola-controlled email address so Autola can process it.

  2. WHAT DATA THE AUTOLA CHROME EXTENSION ACCESSES
When you click the Autola button, the extension accesses the content of the currently open email in Gmail in order to forward it. This may include:

  • Sender and recipient information

  • Subject line

  • Email body content

  • Attachments (if included as part of the forward)

The extension runs only on Gmail pages at:
https://mail.google.com/*

  1. WHAT DATA THE AUTOLA CHROME EXTENSION COLLECTS (AND DOES NOT COLLECT)
    The Autola Chrome Extension:

  • DOES NOT passively collect email content.

  • DOES forward an email only when you click the Autola button.

The Autola Chrome Extension DOES NOT:

  • Collect browsing history outside Gmail

  • Collect your passwords

  • Collect your Google account credentials

  • Collect payment information

  1. WHAT DATA THE AUTOLA CHROME EXTENSION SENDS, AND WHERE IT GOES
When you click the Autola button, the extension DOES send the email you selected (including its contents and any attachments included in the forward) by forwarding it to an Autola-controlled email address.

Forwarding is delivered using Google/Gmail’s normal email delivery systems.

  1. STORAGE AND RETENTION
    The Autola Chrome Extension:

  • DOES NOT store the contents of your emails on your device.

  • DOES NOT store the contents of your emails within the extension.

  • DOES NOT store the contents of your emails on extension-controlled servers.

Autola (the service that receives the forwarded email):

  • DOES receive the forwarded email.

  • DOES store and process the forwarded email content in order to provide the Autola service.

Storage, retention, and deletion practices for content stored by the Autola service are governed by Autola’s service privacy practices/policy (separate from this Chrome Extension policy).

  1. ANALYTICS, TRACKING, AND ADVERTISING
The Autola Chrome Extension DOES NOT:

  • Run advertising

  • Sell user data

  • Use tracking pixels

  • Use third-party analytics SDKs

  • Create marketing profiles about you or your email activity

  1. SHARING OF DATA
The Autola Chrome Extension DOES NOT share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

The Autola Chrome Extension DOES transmit the email you choose to forward to:

  • Autola (via the Autola-controlled destination email address), and

  • Google/Gmail, as part of normal email forwarding and delivery.

Other than the forwarding you initiate, the extension DOES NOT transmit your data anywhere else.

  1. SECURITY
The Autola Chrome Extension DOES NOT operate a separate backend for collecting email content directly. The extension forwards email using Gmail’s normal mechanisms. Autola then receives and stores the forwarded email content as part of providing the service.

  2. YOUR CHOICES AND CONTROL

  • You control whether an email is sent to Autola: nothing is forwarded unless you click the Autola button.

  • You can uninstall the extension at any time to stop all forwarding.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the updated policy at the same URL.
